The second IDP & IGP symposium was held in Istanbul on July 1-3. Participants working in various sub-fields of psychology had the opportunity to present their work, which is an integrative research proposal with Islamic intellectual tradition. The presentations aimed to combine the heritage of modern psychology and Islamic intellectual tradition by offering new perspectives and solutions to current problems.

At the same time, the participants working in the same field of interest were able to meet and share ideas in order to see the common horizon for potential working groups.

After the symposium, the need for potential studies in different sub-fields of psychology and the clarification of the methodology for doing so revealed the hopes and expectations for future studies.
