SYMPOSIUM

SYMPOSIUM

The I. IDP&IGP Symposium, held between October 30 and November 1, 2020, provided the opportunity for many students and mental health professionals from the field to present their work with the theme of “detecting the blockages in modern psychology and proposing solutions to this blockage by taking into account the heritage of Islamic thought”. The joint work of the IDP team at the symposium and Taha Burak Toprak’s presentation titled “An Example of a Method and a Multidimensional Understanding of Reality” were as a roadmap for how to conduct studies on Islamic thought traditions and psychology. The feedback received after the symposium included the expression of the common need for studies in this field and the expectations for the works to continue without slowing down.
