
The First Session of the Psychology in Islamic Thought Seminars Was Held
The seminars on Psychology in Islamic Thought, jointly organized by Ibn Haldun University and the Association for Psychology and Psychotherapy Research, were held on Thursday, March 7, at Istanbul University’s Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Congress and Culture Center. In the first seminar, Our Association President Dr. Taha Burak Toprak delivered the opening speech titled “Psychology in Islamic Thought: Psychology in Islamic Thought Basic Questions and Basic Discussions”.
The seminar focused on the possibilities within Islamic thought and modern psychology. The seminar also focused on fundamental questions and discussion topics that could make it possible to consider Islamic thought and modern psychology together.
This first seminar, ending with Dr. Taha Burak Toprak’s book signing, inaugurated the seminar series on Psychology in Islamic Thought.
